Safety guide

Is Raw meat safe for dogs?

Use with caution

Raw meat carries bacteria (Salmonella, E. coli) and may contain parasites.

All raw meat carries a risk of bacterial contamination that can affect both the dog and the humans handling it. Raw pork can carry Trichinella. Raw Pacific salmon can carry a fatal parasite. Consult your vet before starting a raw diet.
