Is Chocolate safe for dogs?

Toxic — emergency

Chocolate contains theobromine and caffeine, which are toxic to dogs.

Dark chocolate and baking chocolate are the most dangerous. Milk chocolate requires larger quantities to cause toxicity. White chocolate has very little theobromine. Toxicity depends on the type of chocolate, amount eaten, and your dog's weight.
