Paracetamol/acetaminophen (Tylenol) causes liver failure in dogs.
Paracetamol is extremely toxic to dogs. It causes liver damage and prevents haemoglobin from carrying oxygen. Even one regular-dose tablet can be dangerous for a small dog.
