Is Garlic safe for dogs?

Garlic is more toxic per gram than onions and damages red blood cells.
Garlic is 5x more toxic per gram than onions. It belongs to the Allium family and causes oxidative damage to red blood cells. A single large dose or regular small doses over time can both cause toxicity.
