Yes — pear flesh is safe for dogs in moderation.
Pears are a good source of fibre, vitamin C and vitamin K and make a healthy occasional treat. Always remove the core and seeds — pear seeds contain trace amounts of cyanide-releasing compounds — and cut the flesh into bite-sized pieces to prevent choking. Serve fresh, ripe pear rather than tinned pears in syrup, and keep portions modest as the natural sugar can cause loose stools in excess.
