Safety guide

Is Cabbage safe for dogs?

Safe for dogs

Yes — cabbage is safe for dogs in moderation.

Cabbage is non-toxic and can be offered as an occasional treat, raw or cooked and plain. Because it is a gassy vegetable, feeding too much can cause flatulence and bloating, so keep portions small. Serve it plain without seasoning, and introduce it gradually to see how your dog tolerates it.
