Exercise & grooming
Plan for plenty of daily exercise and play. The short coat is easy to care for, but their flat-ish faces mean they can struggle in heat. Their boisterous greetings benefit from early manners training.
Health to watch
A brachycephalic breed prone to certain heart conditions and a higher cancer risk, plus heat sensitivity. Choose health-tested lines and avoid over-exertion in hot weather.
